Music Jatra- Khowpa is Bhaktapur's first-ever large-scale charity music festival, set to take place on 28th November 2026 at Sallaghari Ground, Bhaktapur. More than just a concert, Music Jatra- Khowpa is designed to deliver a full music festival experience, bringing together traditional cultural performances, live music across multiple acts, food and lifestyle stalls, and a charged community atmosphere that celebrates Bhaktapur's rich heritage and artistic identity. The evening will mark a historic milestone as Kuma Sagar and The Khwopa Band take the stage in Bhaktapur for the very first time, making this a homecoming concert for one of Nepal's most celebrated musical acts and an unforgettable moment for the city that has always been at the heart of his story.

Music Jatra- Khowpa is equally a celebration with purpose. The event is dedicated to raising funds for CBRO,the Community Based Rehabilitation Organization, a disability learning center serving the Bhaktapur community since 1985. As part of our commitment, 50% of all commercial earnings from the event including sponsorship revenue and stall rental income will be donated directly to CBRO,in addition to all live audience donations collected through our digital donation platform throughout the evening. With an expected turnout of 25,000 to 30,000 attendees or above, Music Jatra- Khowpaaspires to be more than an annual event, it is a movement that unites people through music, culture, and the shared belief that great experiences and meaningful giving can go hand in hand.
